STUDENT INFORMATION

WHY CAN'T I USE MY OWN IPAD?

The district is using a device management program that only works with devices purchased directly from Apple by the district. This program is necessary in many different ways in order to make the 1:1 Initiative successful.

CAN I PUT A DIFFERENT CASE ON MY SCHOOL IPAD?

During the 2014-2015 school year, the district is requiring all school iPads to be in school-purchased iPad cases. That policy will be re-assessed the following year and may change in the future.

CAN I INSTALL APPS ON MY SCHOOL IPAD?

As long as the apps are school-appropriate, yes, students can install apps on their district iPad. If the app is not free, students may use iTunes cards to purchase the app and that app will stay associated with the student's Apple ID. All apps required by the district for educational purposes will take precedence in the event storage space becomes an issue.
